Well the weather surprisingly was clear last night and the air fairly steady so I was able to capture this image of Mars with my old orange Celestron C8, Canon t2i body mounted in eyepiece projection (9mm) and selected images stacked with Lynkeos.

Here is what CalSky said a telescope like mine should see:
Not too bad for the weather conditions and such! We have had nothing but unuseable weather for the past 2 weeks so it was great to get outside for a session in the observatory.
The air was sweet and the temperature was comfortable, too ! Closed up just after midnight! God is good!
